Nahum 1:7 - SSS63

One of my favorite stamp companies is Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps because they have lots of KJV Scripture stamps. This is my preferred  Bible version so finding KJV stamps is a treat.  I used the Sweet Stop Sketch 63 to make the following card using the Nahum 1:7 stamp from the Jesus Cares clear stamp collection.  Nahum 1:7 was one of my dad's favorites.

I inked the edges of the paper and popped up the verse layers on pop dots.

Supplies:
Card base:  Bazzill
Cardstock: Recollections
Patterned Paper:  BG Origins
Embellishments: BG Opaline Half Pearls, Hobby Lobby brads, Spellbinders Nestabilities
Ink:  Ancient Page Coal Black
Stamp: Sweet 'n Sassy

This card was published in the August 2010 edition of the Scrapbook News & Review online magazine.

Bookmarks for Campers

Our daughter is a counselor at a Christian camp this summer.  She wants to be able to give each of her campers her address so that they can keep in touch with her.  I offered to make this book-loving girl bookmarks with the camp theme on the front and her home & college addresses on the back.  She requested "camp" colors and likes ribbons off the ends.  Since I am making so many of them (70+), I chose to go the hybrid route and mounted my digi-bookmarks on cardstock and then attached the ribbons.

Supplies:  PSE7, cardstock:  Recollections (brown) and Georgia Pacific (white), Ink: SU, Ribbons: Offray

I learned how to make my new signature here and then how to get it to show up on all my posts here

Summer Countdown

Kendra asked for a countdown calendar to help her mark off the days until the end of the school year. Since I did the door signs of her room in BG's Lemonade line, I decided to continue the theme with her calendar. She loves stickles too so I included lots of those as well. I cut 1.25" squares out of scraps to make a "quilted" look under the title. I also used another scrap (& lots of stickles) to turn the flower element into a sun. I used stickles on my thickers to give them some shimmer.

Supplies:
CS - Bazzill; PP & Chipboard elements - BG Lemonade; Stickles; Georgia Pacific computer paper; Several Computer fonts
; AC Thickers
