This week's challenge is a 3-2-1 challenge. The challenge is to use 3 of something, 2 of something and 1 of something. I used 3 butterflies, 2 patterned papers (the sentiment and the background) and one bunny.
I got to play with 3 of the sets.....
Bunny 2
Spring Sentiments
Spring Add-Ons
I chose to use this week's sketch from Mojo Monday (MOJO280) as my jumping off point for the card design. I layered my patterned paper with a strip of Bazzill embossed cardstock and then cut it all out with one of the Spellbinders Grand Circle dies (3rd from the smallest). There were so many layers I had to give a little help with my scissors to complete the circle. I then adhered this to a plain white circle card base. Some pearls and faux stitching finish off the background.
I coolored all the images with Copics. I inked the edges and fussy cut the butterflies. A glaze pen was used on the bunny's nose & eye and stickles give his tail some dimension . A glitter pen gives the butterfly wings, bodies and the flower some sparkle. The image is printed on patterned paper and hand-cut. The butterflies are all popped up with pop dots. The sentiment and flower each have a pearl accent.
Supplies:
Cardstock: Bazzill, Recollections, Copic, Georgia Pacific
Patterned paper: Prima (Madeline)
Stamps: Sweet 'n Sassy Digis (Bunny 2, Spring Add-Ons, Spring Sentiment)
Ink: Memento (Angel Pink, Desert Sand)
Copics: bunny - E31, 35, 37, R20, C-1, W-1, B21, 23, YG03, 05; butterflies - Y17, BG10, 15
Embellishments/Tools: pearls (The Paper Studio), Sakura Gelly Roll pen (Clear Star), Sakura Glaze pen, Spellbinders (Grand Circles, Deckled Rectangles Large & Small), Sharpie Fine Point Pen (brown), Stickles (Frosted Lace)

Love the detail in your card Steph - the layers, design and colours - it all works so well. I love all the cards on display on the SNSDC blog, as they are all so different even with the same stamp set. It has been fun for me, but challenging - I can only get better (I hope)!
Super sweet images, Steph. You've done a darling job putting this together, and it turned out just ADORABLE. Thanks for sharing this in our challenge, and for letting us take a peek at your art this week.
Blessings to you,
Karen

This is really cute!! Love that paper! (I think I have a few scraps of that) The popped up butterflies are great!

The aquas and browns go wonderfully together! I don't often "think outside of the rectangle" so it was refreshing to see your circular card. The pearls are a great finishing touch.
What a sweet take on the 3-2-1. Your butterfly with the glitter really stands out and for me it said, "Carole, spring is nearly here". That of couse is a fantasy.
Your colors remind me of Robins' eggs which once again gave me a second lift. Your card has been a blessing to me and many others.
We love that you have taken time to share your wonderful work with us at Word Art Wednesday.
