He is Mighty

Hello, Friends! It's time for the first Word Art Wednesday challenge in April. This week our focus verse is Luke 1:49, "For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name." The Lord is so good to us and does so much for us. Just think without Him we would not exist. Hebrews 1:3 tells us that He is "upholding all things by the word of His power." God is so mighty and holy and yet He cares about us. I am so unworthy and yet He feels I am valuable. If that's not cause for me to praise Him, I don't know what is!

For my card design this week, I chose to make an easel card. I used beautiful papers from Paper Rose and kept the design pretty simple to simply showcase the verse and papers. Rose gold foil cardstock mats add an elegance and subtle shine. Iridescent bling acts as a stopper for the easel and adds some sparkle.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Bazzill (In the Pink), Recollections (Rose Gold foil), The Paper Studio (Extra Heavy Weight white for card base), Pen & Gear (white for sentiment and interior panel)
Patterned Paper: Paper Rose (Miss Penelope 6 x 6)
Stamps: WORDart by Karen (Luke 1:49)
Tools/Embellishments: The Paper Studio Bling, Spellbinders dies (Standard Circle Large, Picot Edge Circle)

Thank you for visiting with me today. I hope you will visit the Word Art Wednesday blog for more design team inspiration and to enter your card for an opportunity to win a great prize.
