Triple the Sketch & Pink Persimmon

Triple the Sketch is helping Pink Persimmon celebrate their first anniversary. They are giving away a $50 gift certificate to the Pink Persimmon Stamps store. To enter you have to make a layout, card, tag or altered item based on TTS Sketch 63 and use a stamp on it. For all the details see the post here.

For a circle journal I needed to complete a 2 page layout on one of my favorite places to see God's handiwork. I chose our favorite vacation spot in Ely, MN.

I stamped a bracket onto pink cardstock, cut it out and embellished the dots with stickles. I used a stitch stamp to add stitching to the edges of my green cardstock background. I embellished the centers of the flowers with stickles. I drew stitching along the edges of my patterned paper with my favorite Zig pen.

Journaling says:
Left side: "...stand still and consider the wondrous works of God." Job 37:14

Right side: I love to see God's handiwork in the great outdoors. No where is it more evident than in the beauty of our favorite vacation spot in Ely, MN. We've seen elk, moose, loons, and bald eagles feeding their young. Jobs & stress seem far away in this setting.

Supplies: Stamps - Unity Stamp Co. - Polka Dot Left from the Amazing Me kit & Sassafrass Lass - Stitched Borders; Papers: Cosmo Cricket (Girl Friday - Sunday), DCWV, Coredinations; Ink - Stampabilities; Stickles; Ribbon - Michael's; Pen - Zig Ball Writer

A Couple Digi Collages

A friend asked me to do a couple collages of she & her boyfriend for a surprise for him. She gave me lots of pics and total design freedom. How fun!! Both are digi collages.

The first one is 12" x 12"

I resized the 12 x 12 template for this next one to 11" x 14"

Supplies: Template 101 by Scrapping with Liz and My Favorite Guy digi kit by Steel City Scraps.

Edited to add: I was really excited to find out that this layout was chosen as Layout of the Week for 6/20/09 at AC Bailey Designs.
