Tiny Yawns & Sleepy Sighs -- It's a Boy!! -- SNSDC23

This week's challenge at the Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challenge Blog is to make a baby card. Usually I go the pastel blue or pink route.  However, I chose bright primary colors this time.

I chose the "It's a Boy!" sentiment from the Baby Blessings set and using PSE, made a repeating background design.  Then I layered another one of the sentiments from this fantastic set on an eyelet circle nestie as my focal image.  I used a third sentiment from this set on the inside.  This week's sketch from Mojo Monday (MOJO209) made the design part of the card pretty easy.  Since the colors are bolder than my norm, that part was more of a challenge.  ;)

Supplies:
Cardstock:  Georgia Pacific (white), DCWV (yellow & blue)
Patterned Paper:  Echo Park (Little Boy)
Stamps:  Sweet 'n Sassy (Baby Blessings)
Embellishments: Ribbon (Offray), Buttons (from my stash), Floss (DMC), Cuttlebug EF (Spots & Dots), Fiskars Border Punch (Threading Water), Spellbinders Nestabilities (Circles-Small, Eyelet Circle)

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Papers Sundaes #89 - Lots of Layers
Mojo Monday #209 - Sketch
Craft Your Passion #78 - Anything goes using ribbon
Papertake Weekly - Anyting Goes, Option of Something punched (I used a border punch on the right side of my card)

I hope you'll come play along with us this week.

Thanks for stopping by!
