Led Forth with Peace

Welcome back!  It's time for another challenge at Word Art Wednesday.  This week our focus verse is Isaiah 55:12, "For ye shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace, the mountains and hills will break forth before you into singing and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands." This verse is looking forward to the Millennium. This is a 1000 year period when the Lord will be reigning on the Earth. We will be spending much of our time praising the Lord. In fact, the whole earth will be full of praise to the Lord. So much so that the mountains, hills and trees will burst forth with greenery in praise to Him. Verse 13 of the same chapter tells us that instead of thorns and thistles, trees will sprout and grow.  It will be a time of great peace.

So many today are feeling hollow inside and are looking for peace. They will try many things and many religions looking to fill that hollow space. However, that empty space inside can only be filled by the Prince of Peace. Peace isn't found in things or even in religion. It's only found in a personal relationship with the Lord. What about you? Have you accepted Christ as your Savior and experienced the peace that only He can bring? It's the most important decision you will ever make.

For my card today, I brought out my cute Pandamonium stamps.  I thought the bigger pandas looked like they were having fun swinging the little panda as they walked among the bamboo trees (embossed background). The verse is recessed and given a black frame. Some star sequins topped with Star Dust Stickles complete the front.

The pandas on the front are popped up off the card base for some dimension. The little panda on the inside was die cut several times from black card stock.  The black die cuts were stacked with the stamped image on top. The panda was die cut from the white cardstock and the black stack was recessed into this opening. Copic markers add some shading under the pandas on the inside and the outside.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Georgia Pacific (white), Recollections (black), DCWV (green)
Stamps: WORDart by Karen (Isaiah 55:12 digi), Mama Elephant (Pandamonium clear stamps)
Ink: Stazon (Jet Black)
Copics: 100; N0, 1, 3; Colorless Blender
Tools/Embellishments: Darice embossing folder (Bamboo), Mama Elephant dies (Pandamonium), Spellbinders dies (Classic Rectangles Large), V's Sweet Ideas (Hologram Star Sequins 5mm), Stickles (Star Dust)

I love this card, and of course the wonderful devotional that goes with it. I'd like to thank you again for helping me out so that I could travel without these responsibilities on my plate. Your friendship has meant so much in so many different aspects, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. As I write, we are at a truck stop in Iowa. We just had our Sunday morning devotions, and are hitting the road once again. We googled a church in the area, but won't make it in time for services (not to mention, we don't look "church worthy" right now...LOL). Thanks again, Steph. Your art is always a blessing to me, but most especially at this time.
Praising God for you,
Karen
