This week, in the Say It With Scripture challenge at The Sweet 'n Sassy Connection, we're focusing on Psalm 27:14, "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD." One of the hardest times to wait is when you, or someone you love, is facing illness, a medical crisis or an on-going chronic problem. So many times these situations require waiting for tests to be run, waiting for test results, and ultimately, waiting for healing to occur. In the midst of our pain, illness, and concern, it is easy to forget that the Lord has it all in His control. We need to just wait on Him to work things out and allow Him to give us courage and strength. And yes, I do know it's MUCH harder to live this than it is to say (or in this case, write).
For my card I used Doctor Rhubarb and the Encouragement Scripture Set and Paper Sundae #81 Challenge which was a sketch for the design inspiration. After cutting out Doctor Rhubarb with my nestabilities petite oval, I sponged it with ink before removing the die.
I'm entering this card in the Paper Pretties Challenge (PWC166).
