Friends Are the Flowers - SNSDC15

This week the challenge on the Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challenge Blog is to use lace.  I also used this week's Sweet Stop Sketch SSS120.

I colored Rhubarb's Sunflower with Prismacolor pencils.  After die cutting the sentiment with nestabilities and matting it, I fussy cut Rhubarb and attached him to the side of the oval. Black diamond Stickles in the middle of the flower added a little sparkle.  Buttons from my stash added the final touches.

Cardstock:  Bazzill, Georgia Pacific
Patterned paper:  BG (Out of Print)
Stamps:  Sweet 'n Sassy (Rhubarb's Sunflower, Flower Sentiments)
Embellishments/Tools:  Lace & buttons from my stash, Stickles (black diamond), Prismacolor pencils, CB embossing folder (Swiss dots), Nestabilities (petite ovals, petite scalloped ovals)

Challenges I'm entering:
Sentimental Sunday #67 - Flowers
Scrappin It - Summer
Paper Pretties (PWC166) - Die Cuts

Very lovely. I think I prefer digis with color pencils--I like the softer look.
I saw your card at Scrappin' It. My entry is #14. Please stop over.
